China Zhejiang-Malaysia Investment and Trade Symposium 2015 organized by our Committee and The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia concluded successfully in Kuala Lumpur. I would like to extend to you and your colleagues our sincere thanks for your kind support and assistance.

This symposium is one of the biggest and highest-level economic and trade events held in Malaysia by Zhejiang side. Party Secretary of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee Mr. Xia Baolong, Malaysia’s Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to China Mr. Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting, Malaysia’s Vice Minister of International Trade and Industry Mr. Dato Lee Chee Leong and Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Mr. Huang Huikang addressed the opening ceremony. Over 350 entrepreneurs form both sides attended the event, and many of them achieved intent of cooperation during the warm b2b talks in the fields including oil, gas, machinery, electronics, food, etc. The event received an overwhelmingly warm compliment from the participants.

The event further enhanced the investment and trade cooperation between Zhejiang and Malaysia and also gave us a chance to start the friendship and cooperation. We sincerely hope that we could continue our cooperation, consolidate our achievements and make new contributions to the development of bilateral economic ties. Meanwhile, I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to Hangzhou to see the economic and social development here and discuss how to open a new chapter of cooperation in the future.
